Pike County, is located in southwest Indiana. The county is bordered on the north by Daviess and Knox Counties. Dubois County borders to the east; Warrick County is to the south; and Gibson County to the west. Pike County is one of the nine counties located in the area designated by the Indiana Department of Workforce Development as Indiana Economic Growth Region 11.
  • Pike and Dubois Counties comprise the Jasper, Indiana Micropolitan Statistical Area.
  • The county has 336.2 sq. miles in land area including
    • 7,000 acres of water and 20 miles of wetlands.
  • It has a population density of 36.2 people per square mile.
  • In the last three decades Pike County's population grew by 4.5%.

The principal municipalities of Pike County are

  • Winslow
  • Otwell
  • Petersburg (county seat)
